Abstract

This photo album aims to highlight the social relevance of work in the transformation of Cuban society. As a fundamental human right and duty, work determines the development and organization of societies a living; With its rights and obligations, its quality jobs and its social commitment, it becomes the axis of the country project that we promote. Understanding this affirmation for Cuban society places work and its traditional forms in articulation with new economic actors, which are recognized and diversified seeking to accompany the processes of change of a society committed to satisfying the daily needs of the social being.
The multiple manifestations and forms of appropriation in which the work is transmitted from one generation to another have managed to build a distinctive work culture of an entrepreneurial people. Likewise, the necessary formation of a different and not at all homogeneous conception of work happens in current times through the incorporation of other values, knowledge, motivations, and decisions that determine with their individual and social reproduction dissimilar experiences; content of the search for sustainable development for current Cuban society.
