Abstract

The efforts made by different governments in partnership with youth organizations; companies and the ILO have resulted in positive outcomes after many years. According to recent data published in the World Youth Market Trend 2015 report of the ILO-published a few months ago- there is a downward trend in youth unemployment and an increase in schooling in several countries, which represents a great hope for youth; however, as stated in the same report, this trend has not occurred uniformly in all countries and / or regions of the planet, so that efforts should continue to be made. In the case of Nicaragua, statistics for youth unemployment remain stalled so the call to action is still in force despite the various initiatives, plans, and policies carried out by different social and governmental actors to face the youth unemployment crisis. The aim of this work called "Nicaragua: Towards a law of the first youth employment" is to rescue one of the initiatives promoted by the National Assembly and to continue the theoretical debate about the importance of a First youth employment law in our country.
