Abstract

This article presents the frequency of dental alterations in size, number; form and aesthetics in special patients (patients with mental retardation, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy) of the Home of the Disabled Riño Abandoned "Father Vito Guarato". We worked with a population of 200 patients (4688 dental pieces) The results show that of the total pieces evaluated (4688); 2.5% (117) presented alterations in size, 0.79% (37) presented alterations in terms of number, 3.14% (147) presented alterations in shape, 6.44% (302) presented aesthetic alterations and 87.74% (4085) presented no dental alterations
